At the start of the module i wanted to do so many different briefs however found i needed to control what it was i wanted to achieve within the module. i decide i wanted to progress into package design, branding and corporate identity. i feel that i have a fluent feel to this area of design and i could still use type and image of which i am very fond of.
i chose the briefs because they were allowing me to further my practice in these design areas. i was able to focus on branding and package design through the quaker oats brief and the bakery brief. these allowed me to develope a brand itself and a corporate identity for a market that was specific and proffessional.
At first i wanted to work to a tight deadline however my time management again was thrown away as briefs took longer because i wanted to explore more items and problems within them. By taking the briefs further uncontrolled i wasted alot of time when most of the work could have been produced in half the time given i had planned the problems i wanted to face.
if i was to reflect on the module i believe i have succeeded with what i aimed to and also i realise now what field of graphic design i enjoy working with i now have the skills to produce an outstanding portfolio throughout my final major project i will select twelve briefs that will allow me to excel further into package design and branding making me an expert in this field of design.
